Pete Peterson has acted as principal legal counsel to many Northwest businesses and their owners. He represents closely held business owners and individuals. Pete’s legal experience includes partnership disputes, mergers and acquisitions, business litigation, commercial real estate, asset and stock purchases, commercial finance, private placements, and venture capital, as well as the review and drafting of complex agreements. Pete is adept at resolving complex disputes and is available to apply his skills and experience to the mediation of business disputes.

David Kelly has practiced for over 20 years in a wide variety of areas, including commercial and bankruptcy litigation, real estate, and commercial finance. His clients include large national companies, locally owned businesses and their owners. David has resolved numerous cases through jury trials, bench trials, and arbitration, but believes that mediating disputes is often the most effective way to achieve a fair and just result, even those that are seemingly intractable. David completed mediation training at the University of Washington Law School in January 2006.

Loretta Story focuses her practice in the area of Family Law with an emphasis on divorce, custody and support issues, and domestic violence. Loretta’s practice includes Collaborative Law, which is a new practice method that addresses family law matters without the threat of litigation. Loretta brings over 12 years of legal experience to her practice as well as advocacy and mediation skills. Loretta believes that mediation can be particularly effective in obtaining a reasonable result for each party in the area of Family Law and she welcomes to opportunity to serve as mediator. Loretta completed mediation training at the University of Washington Law School in 1999.
