John is "Of Counsel" to the firm. His practice focuses primarily on estate planning issues although he deals with real estate, personal and fiduciary income tax, and represents family members in difficult litigation regarding trusts, probate and guardianship issues.  John has been listed annually in Best Lawyers in America since its original publication 25 years ago and has been designated as a "Super Lawyer" for 2008.  He has taught Estate Planning and Fiduciary Income Tax at the University of Washington School of Law.  John is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
